Two Decades of Bjango
In the beginning, Bjango was just a couple of friends making free OS X Dashboard widgets. We started working on those widgets prior to OS X 10.4 Tiger’s release on 29 April 2005, so my best guess is we started working together some time in March 2005.
After releasing a few successful widgets, we moved on to what we really wanted to create — full Mac apps. iStat Menus 1.0 was released May 2007, and has seen constant updates since. I can’t believe we’ve been working on iStat Menus for almost 18 years.

Congrats, Bjango! Been using iStat menus for many years, never been an issue.
Indicidentally, my quite popular Find Any File is now in its 20th year as well.
I've been using iStat Menus for many years, but version 7 left a bad taste in my mouth and I have yet to upgrade. I have no problem with the upgrade being paid, as I'm happy to give them money to keep it up.
But I have carefully crafted my menu items, and version 7 just wipes them away. There is zero migration, and I'm expected to recreate them all manually. I contacted support, and they confirmed that is the case. That is pretty ridiculous for a paid version.
Absolutely right, Matt B. I have been waiting for an update of iStat Menus 7.0.2 to see if they fixed its horrible interface (as compared to version 6) and the battery alarm functionality, yet no updates since 4 September 2024 until 7 February 2025 (version 7.1) and nothing of that was fixed

Do iStat Menus 7.1 (latest one) battery notifications (alerts) work for any of you? Which macOS version and which Mac (Intel or Apple silicon)? They do not work here with macOS 13.7.4 (22H420) Ventura on Intel Mac that cannot be further upgraded.
That is almost seven months ago! Should we expect an update or return to iStat Menus 6, which was great?

They work for me. 15.3.2 (24D81), Apple Silicon.
The only issue I have with iStat Menus is that with the notch, there's not much room on my MacBook's screen to show anything.
