Mac OS X 10.4.7
Maybe it’s just my imagination, but I think the font smoothing looks a bit better in 10.4.7. I use the Strong style, and the letters look a bit darker and less colored to me.

Dan Benjamin has the before and after screenshots that I was too lazy to take last night.
Rich Siegel says 10.4.7 fixed a bug with the sub-pixel code on Intel.
