File-swapping Tools Are Legal

It seems to be old news. Some higher courts have ruled that an encouraged file swapping is a criminal act. But a lot of things have happened since thathe last Court ruling. a Harvard Graduate developed a decentralized file swapping program called eDonkey that he thinks is not in violation of the court decision because the decentralized software is not an encouraged act.

Be that as it may RIAA is totally misguided. It's enriching the lawyers by keeping them busy in the court. In the mean time the RIAA members are not able to sell any CDS because people are downloading them at no cost.

It is time RIAA funds the development of server side processing method of surfing the web.
