Apple Polishing Cloth 2026
Apple today released a new version of its Polishing Cloth on its online store. In the U.S., pricing is now set at $9, down from $19 for the previous version of the cloth.

My favorite feature of this product is the store’s “compatibility” matrix that gets updated with every new Mac/iPhone release.
Curiously, the products Apple released alongside the new cloth aren’t compatible with it — namely, because they don’t have screens.

I have a couple still in their plastic sleeves, still folded and unused. The other is regularly doused in isopropyl alcohol and used to wipe down my Braille displays; it's lost both scent and lustre.
