I'm not sure why the iPad Air still exists.
Is .05" of thickness and .05 pounds of weight enough of a difference to justify calling it a "thin and light" model?
The iPad Air exists to hit another price point. The name has become meaningless, just as in the Mac line when the 12 inch appeared.
It just means iPad Default.
But why would they throw away a valuable brand name and create customer confusion at the same time by changing it?
