@Ruffin, Since all units are dev units I don't think there will be a separate dev kit that contains a physical unit. the dev kit will just be the SDK for those units already in circulation.
I'm really looking forward to see how the software scene for the Playdate develops and evolves.
Since anyone can sideload on any service straight out of the box there could be a resurgence in old school shareware models.
They sold at least 20k in the first 20 minutes. I spaced ordering and they were already into 2022 deliveries by then.
Guess I’ll have to be satisfied with the dev kit (if it’s released soon) until then.
Amazing for a company founded on a (great, mind you, and great for decades) ftp app. 😉
