GyazMail 1.6.1

GyazMail is now 64-bit, just in time for macOS 10.15 Catalina. This version also improves its SSL support, so it can work with mail servers that have more stringent security requirements.

I’ve always been impressed by how many OS versions it supports. The prior version worked all the way from Mac OS X 10.1 through macOS 10.14. The new version drops PowerPC support but still works all the way back to OS X 10.6.

GyazMail has built-in support for SpamSieve.

Michael, is this what you personally use for email?

@Ben My main client is Apple Mail, but I use GyazMail for a few auxiliary accounts.

I'll have to check it out. I've been disappointed with Apple Mail since day 1 and all these years later they've never improved the things that annoy me about it.

I've used GyazMail (and SpamSieve) for 10+ years and wouldn't even consider upgrading to Catalina until GyazMail was supported. Has an essential capability to queue outgoing messages ("Send Later") that few mail clients seem to support any more. Immediate sending is often a bad practice - how often have you realized a that response that you'd just sent should be revised after you've read something later in your inbox?! Outbox queue so you're in control of transmission time is a must-have on my email client requirement checklist
