FSMonitor 1.0.2

Matthias Keiser:

FSMonitor is a macOS app that monitors all changes in the file system.

  • Track all changes to the file system, including file creation, deletion, change of content, renames, and change of attributes.
  • Examine the changed files with any of the four provided display modes.

Time to stop using fs_usage directly.

Previously: opensnoop.

Well, that's quite the ripoff of fseventer: http://krypted.com/tag/fseventer/

@heinz: You can't rip off what has been discontinued. You can't download FSEventer, nor does it work in Sierra. Glad someone picked up the idea and ran with it.

Looks like Heinz has not tried using FSEventer on Sierra yet.

For anyone looking for a download link, it appears that it's hosted at https://fsmonitor.com
