iOS 26.0.1 and iPadOS 26.0.1

Juli Clover (iOS/iPadOS release notes, security, enterprise, no developer):

According to Apple’s release notes for the update, iOS 26.0.1 addresses a bug that could cause aberrations in photos captured with the iPhone Air and the iPhone 17 Pro models. It also fixes ongoing cellular and Wi-Fi issues that iPhone 17 owners have been dealing with, and addresses a bug with tinted icons.

Apple keeps putting iOS-26-updated versions of iWork on its product pages, but they still haven’t shipped any of it. At what point does it become false advertising? 😛

Additionally, my phone’s keyboard doesn’t jump at me from the side, like a burglar hiding behind the corner in the shadows…

Damn. Upgraded two devices - one iOS one iPadOS. I routinely turn OFF (under Display & Brightness in Settings) auto-lock by setting it to never. It was reset on iOS. Again, (see my comment under macOS 15.7.1) why? ELEVEN days and you already release EVERY SINGLE OS you have for either a dot-dot (or in the case of macOS 15 a full dot) release?

Wow.

Seems like it’s too soon for CVE-2025-32463 to have been addressed; 26.0.2 can’t be far off.
