Synalyze It! 1.0
Interesting new hex editor from Andreas Pehnack (via Joel Levin):
Synalyze It! allows you to create a grammar for binary files interactively. Unlike in regular hex editors or viewers the files are interpreted automatically for you!
Here’s an example of how it works for PNG files.

I used to use a tool like this back in ~1999 on Mac OS "Classic". Trying to remember the name of it - but very similar to Synalyze (downloading now). Was _incredibly_ handy.
