Path Finder 3
Path Finder gets a great update, which includes an improved version of the Panther Finder’s Places sidebar. It’s still missing a good Find feature, though.

Hi, Michael -
I know that Steve (the developer) is planning a kicking search feature for when Panther comes out, but in the meantime, what I would suggest is to download the freeware EasyFind. It's made by Devon Technologies, and it's a really nice piece of work.

What I do then is I remap cmd+f to launch EasyFind. Hope this helps!
