I’ve seen this several times myself, in crash logs from Apple Mail. Hopefully Apple will issue a 10.4.12 release that fixes it.

Yeah, we just started seeing this in Camino recently after adding the Sparkle update framework, and apparently lots of other Sparkle-based apps have the same problem. The bug isn't fixed in 10.5 either.
