@McCloudStrife Best Macworld Expo demo I ever saw, from Steve himself in a tiny one-Mac booth.
@McCloudStrife TMON, which I never used; and Jasik’s “The Debugger,†which had a really weird and powerful interface. Hope there’s a video…
@McCloudStrife And there was actually a market for third-party debuggers that were better than the built-in one…
@McCloudStrife My first Mac had an actual switch to break into the debugger and maybe get back to the Finder if the system crashed.
@McCloudStrife None taken. I had a good laugh.
@McCloudStrife Also, having used the combination of unprotected memory, system extensions, and a non-journaled filesystem, I’ve seen worse.
@McCloudStrife Probably right, because as many problems as there are, there doesn’t seem to be anything better coming along to replace it.
@NSShadowCat Server down?
@macguitar Glad to here that. Fantastical is one of my favorite apps for Mac and iPhone.

@mcelhearn Hmm. I wonder what the difference is. I am *not* a very fast typist.
@mcelhearn Are you using Icons view? It doesn’t happen for me in there. In List and Columns view it’s happened on all my Macs for years.
@mcelhearn Shouldn’t matter because it should be buffered. Like I said, this worked 25 years ago.
