@simX After I swipe from the lock screen to the keyboard, I have to swipe back left and then right again, or else the Shift key won't work.
@_rbritton I've called several times about this, but they say that for this particular issue they can only help me via iTunes Connect.
This is not the worst bug in the world, but it’s been a thorn in my side every time I use my iPad for 4+ months.
@bmike No, haven't seen that before.
iOS 9.2.1 update worked on the iPhone, but still has the bug since 9.0 where the Shift key doesn't work when entering password until swipe.
@t0mat0 Yeah, that works, but I'm hardwired from years of LaunchBar (which I still use on my main Mac).

Not really in a rush except Apple told me that if I don't finish phase 2 of the update within 2 weeks, their DB fix for phase 1 will revert.

@mcelhearn I thought they changed that in Yosemite, and it works for other apps: rk for ReadKit, me for MarsEdit.
@janl I was actually trying to make a backup, but because of an El Capitan bug I have to manually mount the drive in Disk Utility first.
