@rosyna Yes, sad to see that it's still using Spotlight for smart mailboxes.
Enabling and disabling various Mail accounts seems to have gotten it to load the messages.
iCloud calendars down for the second time today. :(
@rosyna Isn’t the migration finished when the dialogue goes away?
@hanlon_chris Reported the AppleScript bug back in June (21464974) but haven't heard anything since.
@hanlon_chris Normally, EF should warn you if Mail is busy downloading messages, but the safety check often fails on 10.11 due to a Mail bug
@hanlon_chris Because you couldn't see the messages to select them?
@pwgallagher I am tempted to just embrace Zawinski’s Law.
@alanthonyc DreamHost. The two accounts with the most messages are working. Third smaller one is updating other mailboxes but not inbox.
@MadBadDangerous I'm not even sure what Mail is doing. Lots of stuff in Activity window but iStat shows almost no network activity.
I've had 10.11 installed for 6+ hours now. Mail has been furiously downloading mail but has yet to show any new messages in main account.
@mcelhearn Contextual menu between two toolbar buttons and then you can Customize Toolbar.
@mcelhearn Actually, I was able to get to that via the contextual menu and then put the Unlock button back.
@mcelhearn Good thing there's an app for that. :)
@mcelhearn Did you find where the Burn command is hiding, too?
@mcelhearn Can't test now, but it looks like you're right—they just removed the Unlock toolbar button.
Then "diskutil cs unlockVolume <volume ID>"
Disk Utility in 10.11 doesn't seem to have a way to mount locked volumes. But you can unlock with "diskutil list" to find the volume ID.
@menujusenja I don't know. Mine got stuck after the reboot, where there was the black screen with just the apple and progress bar.

I get increased contrast, but only on three sides. pic.twitter.com/76g4HPR47G
@ScooterComputer I don't know. I've never used iCloud Keychain.
Finder is now showing blurry scaled-down file/folder icons in icon view on non-Retina.
And Mail also forgot one of the IMAP mailbox mappings.
Was wondering why my inbox was showing 780 unread messages. Turns out that Mail decided to enable one of my disabled test accounts.
Seems to be a change in how the Finder handles window resizing via AppleScript. Extra space between my tiled windows. c-command.com/scripts/finder…

@ScooterComputer I read online that you can do Command-L to see the log during install, but it didn't work (perhaps already beachballed).
I think I was right to give up because the installer log had no new entries for over an hour.
@stormchild I think San Francisco is not as good as Lucida Grande on non-retina, but it's way better than Helvetica Neue.
Hey, it eventually did stop spinning. Now to see what will compile…
Entered the recovery key and now it’s been spinning for “Setting Up [iCloud] Account” for a few minutes.
Gave up and restarted the Mac. Setup assistant wanted 2-factor auth for my Apple ID but never received code any of the three ways.
@pmcg All of a sudden I have a spinning beachball. Not sure whether that’s good or bad.
@milend Too bad. Those are going to get blown away anyway when I install the new version of TeX.
@milend I don’t think I had much if anything that it would need to move. Maybe LaTeX.
@pmcg This is the only time I miss spinning disks. Can’t tell whether it’s even doing anything.
El Capitan installation stuck at about 90% for the last 25 minutes. Command-L doesn’t work.
