@_matthewpalmer @brentsimmons With auto-layout, I'm tempted to build everything in code: factor out commonalities, share stuff between apps.
@hidvorak I'm glad you agree.
@hidvorak Thanks for looking into this.
@hidvorak Whereas, I used (OO 3) to be able to close a document today, open it tomorrow, and have the window open in the same place.
@hidvorak My understanding is that your intended behavior is that there's no state restoration for documents except between quit and launch.
@hidvorak Unchecked. But I'm talking about window positions for documents that were not open when I quit. Support told me you removed that.
@wklj Previous versions remembered the state of all documents, in the prefs, so they could be different on different Macs.
@wklj It's doing this using the system state restoration, so I can't imagine how that would work over OmniPresence.
@wklj That's strange because I was told that, by design, OmniOutliner 4 only remembers windows that were open when you quit.
Disappointed that after 5 updates OmniOutliner 4 still can't remember window positions. With seemingly all prior versions this just worked.
