I love Arq in theory. UI needs more flexibility. S3 is expensive.
@danielpunkass Yeah, CrashPlan doesn't like disconnected drives either, though it's not that bad.
@nonliteral I've been using CrashPlan for 2 years or so. Haven't had that particular problem, though I've seen mentions of it from others.
@danielpunkass Also, not keeping versions longer than 30 days? No mention of what metadata it preserves? Does not inspire confidence.
@danielpunkass I can deal with losing xattrs, but not supporting timestamps or symlinks says to me the developers are incompetent.
I tested nearly all of them at one point and much preferred CrashPlan. Things look good now, but waiting for explanation about this morning.

CrashPlan says "Unable to restore due to a backup archive I/O error." Can't search or browse to restore anything.
