@siegel Thanks.
@fraserspeirs Firefox removed some critical AppleScript support in version 3.6.
@donmcallister It always worked perfectly for me until last week. Not sure what changed.
PayPal keeps logging me out when I try to withdraw funds via Safari (even with extensions off). Firefox works, though.
@mikeash Yeah, SSD makes multitasking work the way it's supposed to. No more penalty to leaving Time Machine, CrashPlan, or Mail running.
Not very Pythonic, but I already know how to use NSXMLDocument.
The missing hyphen reminds me of the time I accidentally told a customer that I "resent" the e-mail to him. http://bit.ly/a7PVm7
@danwood Yes, in fact SpamSieve does peek into attachments (HTML, PDF, images, etc.). Please send in a report: http://bit.ly/cwi9Mv
@danwood Haven't tried them, but I would guess kToolbarMovieFolderIcon and NSImageNameMobileMe.
@natevw Thanks for the link.
@bwebster Couldn't you do that with 7?
@PostsAtEventide It's about time you had your own domain. :-)
@leebennett Should be slimmer now.
@danwood An address book or whitelist match, perhaps?
@siegel Yep, the Jalapeño Cheddar ones are great.
@atomicbird Just a decoration!
@retrophisch Looking good. BTW, nice photo of you, D, and S.
@pilky Please feel free to write a comment on the post saying which parts go beyond reversing.
@danielpunkass Hmm, are you running any Safari extensions? I'm on 7.3.5 and see the problem once every few days.
@mikeash Congratulations!
@LKM Are you and @danielpunkass using the FogBugz beta?
@danielpunkass I got an expired page once this morning.
@capttaco Yes, this question of what is code vs. data is murky. In any case, good luck!
@capttaco Both need to be embedded.
@dnanian Ha!
@schwa Interpreters are only allowed if the interpreted code is built into the app. So I think Briefs is still forbidden.
@radiofreelunch Yep, the blog comment I linked to at http://twitter.com/mjtsa... was wrong.
Briefs is probably still out due to being an interpreter, though they are allowing the competing apps.
There doesn't seem to be anything in the guidelines that would prohibit Google Voice.
@jablair If you go through the process of signing up, Apple eventually gives you that link before they make you pay the $99.
OK, here's the PDF (from Apple) of the iOS Developer Program License Agreement: http://bit.ly/cpJ4IN
According to http://bit.ly/boFhxy, Section 3.3.1 stills says "originally written in". So what's the change? That you can pick your compiler?
@gesteves Thanks!
So is there any way to read the App Store Review Guidelines or the license Developer License Agreement before paying the $99?
Downloading iOS 4.1. Hope it fixes the app crashes that 4.0 introduced.
@leebennett USB extenders aren't allowed by the spec. The notch ensures that you use the out-of-bounds combination that Apple tested.
@danielpunkass Probably good for the eventual move to GC, anyway…
Grr, nothing happens when I click the text of those custom Ping radio buttons.
@Stormchild Do you have a blog? stormchild.net isn't loading for me.
@Stormchild No album problems yet. Database fears have kept me from using Faces and Flickr, though.
@Stormchild Yeah, Aperture is great when it works. I'd like them to take a year off new features and just work on reliability and speed.
@Stormchild It should "just work" with new photos for the subscribed projects automatically syncing to the phone. Never been reliable.
@Stormchild I can make it work if needed. My point is that, having done all that, I can't count on it working automatically going forward.
@Stormchild Yes, I think the problem is missing previews. Not sure what can be done, though. I don't want to check each time I add photos!
@Stormchild Oh, good tip. Maybe I can renumber all my versions so that the filenames match date order…
@Stormchild Yeah, it's a mess. Why can't the Photos app at least sort by date?
I cannot count on adding a photo to an Aperture project and having it show up on the iPhone. 3 days and many syncs later, missing 38 photos.
@simX No evidence that it doesn't. http://www.apple.com/app...
@ianbeck Yeah, that's classic.
"With Apple TV, every megapixel of every photo looks amazing." If by "every megapixel" you mean "0.9 megapixels." It's still only 720p.
DRM is more palatable when you aren't buying.
Eyes burning from those vertical title bar buttons in the iTunes 10 window.
