@mattball "Show RSS" shows the RSS button and also opens the feed in NetNewsWire (or whatever).
Safari 5's location field uses a darkened highlight color to show the auto-completed title. Hard to read if you're using gold or orange.

@adamengst "Disable Site-Specific Hacks" doesn't seem to affect Reader for me. The hidden click-hold menu seems to work, though.
OK, so you can click-hold on the Reader button to get a slightly different menu of RSS options. After you pick, the Reader button goes away.
I must be missing something. Does Safari 5 really prevent you from subscribing to an RSS feed when Reader is available?
Not happy with this funny Web archive data that Safari 5's Reader generates. No original URL stored, and display and conversion problems.
