@eschaton I think people would be willing to give up will/did, in controlled situations, in exchange for not having to give up Core Data.
@bbum OK, but do you really consider those to be ORM features? Would they not also be useful for an "object graph manager?"
@brandelune Thanks for all the suggestions.
Anyone know a good Mac XLIFF editor now that LocFactory was Java-bridged by Snow Leopard?
@otherside Yes, fragmentation is still a problem on Mac OS X. It only auto-defragments small files.
iDefrag says that my Aperture BigBlobs.apdb has 11,901 fragments.
It looks like the colors on my display are a bit richer after doing a safe boot, but I don't see any differences in the preferences.
@zorn From the description @profittrain sounds good, but I'm not really interested in beta testing. Looking forward to the final release.
@kevinhoctor Oh, it looks like this may be fixed in 1.5! I'll let you know if I see it again.
@kevinhoctor My top requests: hierarchical buckets, speed (moving a bucket in the list takes 5 seconds or so, and I have a very small DB).
@kevinhoctor I like how Reconcile is a tab now. It was a bit confusing having it as a hidden mode before.
@kevinhoctor I like the UI changes.
Seems that iTunes really does remember passwords now.
Aperture 3 looks great.
@sebastianlewis Yeah, that's a great page. The keys do work in other apps, though. Just not in Safari (sometimes).
@sebastianlewis Yes, as far as I can tell.
Not sure what's going on: for quite a while now the Home/End/PageUp/PageDown keys have stopped working in Safari some time after rebooting.
@danielpunkass That was a beautiful post. I'm so sorry for your loss.
@danielpunkass Next time get a Brother.
@retrophisch Yay!
