@jimcorreia I was referring to distcc. That's still supposed to work, right? The hosts just show up in red as "Unreachable."
@fraserspeirs Distributed builds aren't working for me with gcc, anymore, either. :-(
The weird Time Machine errors definitely seem to be due to me replacing a symlink with a folder or vice-versa.
Added a bunch of keyboard shortcuts, and now I'm really liking Xcode's Condensed layout.
@kevinhoctor Tweetie ignores the scrolling keys, too. :-(
@kch Yes, I always fear that I'll forget to choose "Reopen All Windows from Last Session" and before I do something to overwrite the state.
@danielpunkass Yeah, I've often wanted it to be in viewed order. It may be tricky to interleave the loaded-but-unviewed pages, though...
@gruber Yeah, or perhaps it should be undoable, like in NetNewsWire.
Is there no way to use AppleScriptObjC from a plain script rather than an Xcode project?
@drwave Well, iDisk is always slow, but I mostly use it for OmniFocus and syncing now takes 5 minutes instead of about 10 seconds.
iDisk seems really slow the last couple days.
@rmkev I just don't think nibless localization is a promising approach, unless you build layout managers. Fragile even then b/c no IDs.
I guess it all comes down to how much it bothers you to look at huge buttons and layouts where the controls are positioned improperly.
@dornquast Now it says that it will keep only weekly backups for the past year, and I need CrashPlan+ to change that.
@dornquast I had set it to "never delete" before. I thought that meant unlimited versions. Don't care about disk space because of CPC. :-)
@dornquast My understanding is the free version *is* losing versions now, because after 90 days it only keeps one per week.
@crashplan How can I keep as many versions as I like? Changing the defaults requires CrashPlan+ according to http://bit.ly/QirHT.
@ianbetteridge There will be a time for that. :-)
@marcoarment Hopefully the edge isn't as sharp, too. :-)
Aw, my customers are so sweet. And helpful.
@nriley Thanks. Seems the @crashplan changes now reduce the number of file versions you can keep without paying.
@siracusa And they should be easily removable.
The @crashplan app seems to have silently auto-updated itself, as the UI is tweaked a little, but the app on my hard drive has the same date
MacUpdate is showing a new CrashPlan for 2009-10-19, and it's available for download, but nothing in forum or from @crashplan.
Photoshop Elements 8 trial requires Adobe account to download, 1.24 GB. Acorn 2.1 trial: 8.1 MB.
@ccgus Yay! http://bit.ly/1ao2Rk

Looking for a replacement for LocFactory Editor, which depends on the removed Java bridge...
@0xced That's what @natevw suggested, and it works. The only other solution I know of is to go back to the 10.5 SDK.
@natevw Thanks! Radar filed.
Trying to figure out how to make Xcode link to my libpcre.a rather than /usr/lib/libpcre.0.dylib.
@schwa That would be great.
I can't believe that GyazMail still supports Puma.
@jessegrosjean Congratulations!
@webkit I wasn't able to reproduce it locally with HTML files, only with the actual site. Still want the files?
@webkit Of course, now my page doesn't work in IE < 8. :-(
@webkit I reported it from Safari, so I don't have a bug number. Content DIV pushed below a left float DIV but fixes when window is resized.
Tired of waiting for the WebKit regression to be fixed, so I changed my CSS.
@leebennett Can't be too long ago, since I have the PDF from my September bill. There's actually still JavaScript related to the PDF button.
AT&T no longer provides bills in PDF format.
@GlennF Which registrar would you recommend?
@GlennF I don't understand. Why is it not professional to use them as a registrar?
GoDaddy's always been great for me, but this @crashplan situation is a mess. No backups in 17 hours, and the DNS still isn't resolving right
Why does the NYT always say "Steven P. Jobs" but not "William H. Gates III"?
@cparnot ..and I may encounter bugs that have already been fixed!
@cortig Not sure. I didn't have the DVD handy, and I wonder if maybe the problem was that some OS update thinks the DVD version is too old.
Rosetta was installed, but now Snow Leopard claims it isn't. And Software Update is hung trying to find it. Fail.
No text selection or Copy in iTunes Store. Grr.
@ddribin I think that's the view I'm converging on as well.
@wilshipley Isn't that fixed in R8?
