@blakeseely Fixed as in they hardcoded ".graffle" or something more?
@rtmfd Already done. :-) tell application "Xcode"
set _path to associated file name of window 1
end tell
@rtmfd You could use the system-wide scripts menu. I use FastScripts.
@rtmfd You should bundle a HUD script for Xcode.
@atomicbird AIG's head was appointed by the government about six months ago.

Arranging another mail-in repair for my MacBook Pro.
@benjaminb Please contact spamsieve@c-command.com. The plug-in does not affect which e-mails are shown. A damaged Mail database, perhaps.
Uh oh, all of a sudden my MacBook Pro's fan is very noisy.
@benjaminb SpamSieve works fine with Safari 4. You may need to disable GrowlMail, though.
After a fresh Time Capsule backup last night, Time Machine just failed again. I wonder if this is due to the firmware update.
Disk Utility is finally done repairing my Time Capsule image. Hopefully backups will work now.
Time Capsule drive and disk image are both damaged. Good thing it's on an external drive so I can repair it via FireWire 800.
@fraserspeirs No page that I've seen. I haven't tried it in VMware yet. Newer support said they'd arrange to do it by mail if I had no PC.
@fraserspeirs Have you tried the Voyager firmware update: http://bit.ly/voyager ?
If I start reading this Raiders thing, I don't think I'll be able to stop.
@jablair Happy birthday, Eric!
@jsnell Answered all my questions. Thanks.
@dnanian Ha! For me, more knowledgeable users seem to get into more trouble. At least up to a point.
NewerTech support says there's a firmware patch for the Voyager Q, but I haven't been able to find it.
@fraserspeirs Mine has GUID 0x30E002E0454647, also.
Looks like the curl-foo finally worked.
@petermaurer It got 4.9 and 5.47 GB.
@petermaurer Also, it creates a .leech file of the appropriate size, but the progress window says the file is only 2 GB.
@petermaurer It's connect.apple.com...
Leech has now failed twice to download a large .dmg, thinking it was finished before it got the whole file. curl unreliable too. Bad server?
Now I'm getting crashes due to Safari 4. WebKitThreadingException even though I don't create any threads.
@siracusa Run "otool -ov" and see if the very last line says GC or RR.
@retrophisch Awesome. I think it's great that D will be there.
@kcase Great idea!
@danwood Looks nice!
@mattball Why can't you just download the pre-compiled TeX Live CD image?
@leebennett I doubt that's the goal. I read they can't make enough Kindles, so they kept the price high to ration them. Should sell blades.
@macgreg Thanks.
@leebennett Because Apple makes their money on hardware and has lots of R&D. Amazon's business is already content distribution.
@leebennett Why wouldn't they be happy to sell content to non-Kindle owners?
@gruber Good question!
@nst021 I prefer Emacs+AUXTeX or BBEdit for LaTeX. However, TeXShop is easier for the novice: live preview, cheat sheet, tabular GUI, etc.
TeXShop seems much-improved since the last time I used it.
New version of PDFPen is on VT but not Smile's site.
@iacas Slow devices like iPhones and old Macs don't slow down the 802.11n network. But, after trying dual-band manually, I prefer Ethernet.
@fraserspeirs I expected the entire "tabs" to be clickable, but only the text is.
@ccgus That's what I was wondering: is eSATA much faster when not using a RAID? Please let us know. :-)
@ccgus Just out of curiosity, why eSATA instead of FireWire 800?
@ccgus I always figured this was saying the Foundation part of NSAttributedString was threadsafe. The HTML stuff is in the AppKit additions.
