If you connect <a href=\"http:\/\/www.belkin.com\/us\/p\/P-F4U085\/\">the Belkin<\/a> to a MacBook Air, a display, and a single <a href=\"http:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2014\/06\/18\/rocketstor-drive-dock-more-expensive-but-reliable\/\">drive dock<\/a>, you&rsquo;re already out of Thunderbolt ports. And three USB ports is barely any. I&rsquo;m currently using a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ianker.com\/product\/68ANHUB-B10A\">9-port Anker USB 3.0 hub<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B00GSLMTQ8\/?tag=michaeltsai-20\">Amazon<\/a>) and a 7-port USB 2.0 hub. This sort of product would be a lot more interesting if it could cut down on the number of hubs, power adapters, and daisy-chained cables in my office. Otherwise, it is essentially $300 to add a single Thunderbolt port.<\/p>\r\n<p>Update (2014-10-11): After chatting with Belkin&rsquo;s support person (see comments below), I learned that there are in fact only two Thunderbolt ports total.
