In other words: don&rsquo;t worry about the death of the album format. 45% of people prefer to buy as an album anyway, even though they always have the option to only buy per-song.\n\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nAnother way of looking at it would be to say that people are buying about ten times as many singles as albums. In other mathy book news, when I was in the airport last week I noticed that John Allen Paulos has a new book out, about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0465054803\/michaeltsai-20\">stock market<\/a>. Paulos is also author of the classic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/038548254X\/michaeltsai-20\">A Mathematician Reads the Newspaper<\/a>.
