This script:<\/p>\n<pre>tell application \"Finder\"\n    tell window 1\n        set statusbar visible to true\n    end tell\nend tell<\/pre>\n<p>no longer does anything (FB20794683). If I change <code>window<\/code> to <code>Finder window<\/code>, instead of doing nothing it fails with error -10006. The header says that&rsquo;s <code><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/documentation\/coreservices\/1559934-anonymous\/telcaunavail?language=objc\">telCAUnavail<\/a><\/code>, which doesn&rsquo;t seem like it would apply here. On Sequoia, it doesn&rsquo;t work either, but it silently fails rather than reporting an error.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n<li><p>Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2025\/11\/10\/fsf-eu-notarization-complaint\/\">again<\/a> got in the way of shipping my app. I had to try several times this morning to submit it to the App Store.
