But the Mac jumped 16%, the iPad was up 15%, and services was up 14%. The recently sluggish Wearables, Home, and Accessories category was down 2%.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tidbits.com\/2025\/01\/31\/despite-iphone-decline-apples-q1-2025-sets-revenue-records\/\">Michael E. Cohen and Adam Engst<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/tidbits.com\/2025\/01\/31\/despite-iphone-decline-apples-q1-2025-sets-revenue-records\/\">\n<p>The big winner in the category revenue race was Services, which brought in a record $26.3 billion, up $3.2 billion from last year. Consequently, Services grew to account for 21% of Apple&rsquo;s overall revenues, while an iPad rebound boosted its share to 7%, and Macs remained steady at 7%.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macstories.net\/news\/apple-reports-q1-2025-financial-results\/\">John Voorhees<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.macstories.net\/news\/apple-reports-q1-2025-financial-results\/\"><p>Going into today&rsquo;s earnings call, Apple&rsquo;s stock was <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/apple-to-report-q1-earnings-a-week-after-stock-hit-with-multiple-downgrades-181558755.html\">downgraded by multiple analysts<\/a>. Factors cited in the downgrades included weak sales in China, an expectation that Apple wouldn&rsquo;t meet earnings expectations, and the the lack of any boost in iPhone sales from Apple Intelligence.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.ycombinator.com\/item?id=42884654\">wronglebowski<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/mastodon.social\/@BasicAppleGuy\/113923624901457418\">BasicAppleGuy<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/news.ycombinator.com\/item?id=42884654\">\n<p>Apple has a reserved billboard right across the street from my apartment.
