There have been <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.macrumors.com\/threads\/new-text-typing-bug-where-text-gets-randomly-replaced.2407661\/\">multiple complaints about the issue<\/a>, which affected web pages and apps like Mail and Messages.<\/p><p>The problem has persisted for several months, and has been an issue through multiple versions of Sonoma.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This was clearly caused by a <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/WebKit\/WebKit\/commit\/fe1e4812260edf0b2117c1f78ddecd7c3d584f86\">WebKit bug<\/a>, but I&rsquo;ve been intermittently seeing a similar issue with <code>NSTextView<\/code> for several years.
