The problem stopped when Bluetooth was disabled or when Bluetooth accessories were disconnected from the Mac, which was not an ideal solution for users. <\/p>\n<p>Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2022\/02\/08\/macos-12-3-beta-2-appears-to-fix-darkwake-issue\/\">addressed the problem<\/a> in  macOS Monterey  12.3 beta 2 yesterday, but now Mac owners will not need to wait for the  macOS Monterey  12.3 launch to fix their Bluetooth battery drainage issues.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT213092\">Apple<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT213092\">\n<p>Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Activity Monitor shows no significant CPU, disk or network activit, so I don&rsquo;t know what this POS is doing. The whole process makes it a 5-minute affair to get back to work, which has all been torn down by having to reboot.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mjtsai\/status\/1490768583672094721\">network\/kernel_task hang<\/a> is no better in macOS 12.2.1. I am now restarting my Mac twice a day to avoid it.<\/p>\n\n<p id=\"macos-12-2-1-update-2022-03-07\">Update (2022-03-07): On the plus side, it seems like macOS 12.2 may have fixed the frequent <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mjtsai\/status\/1496106234231013382\">lsd crashes<\/a> that I had been getting.
