{"id":33188,"date":"2021-07-22T17:32:20","date_gmt":"2021-07-22T21:32:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/?p=33188"},"modified":"2021-07-22T17:32:20","modified_gmt":"2021-07-22T21:32:20","slug":"git-tower-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2021\/07\/22\/git-tower-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Git Tower 7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.git-tower.com\/blog\/tower-mac-6\">Julian Rothkamp<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.git-tower.com\/blog\/tower-mac-6\"><p>The first thing you will notice after updating to Tower for Mac version 6 is our new dock icon.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>After adapting the toolbar to the new design, we decided to go one step further and remove Tower&rsquo;s &ldquo;Navigation Bar&rdquo; right below the toolbar.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>Across the whole app you will find new as well as redesigned icons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.git-tower.com\/blog\/tower-mac-7\">Julian Rothkamp<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.git-tower.com\/blog\/tower-mac-7\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.git-tower.com\/release-notes\/mac?show_tab=release-notes\">Version 7<\/a> gives you the option to easily give your commits more context by directly referencing issues, commits and files.<\/p><p>[&#8230;]<\/p><p>Similar to issues numbers, you can search and autocomplete commit references by typing &ldquo;c:&rdquo;.<\/p><p>[&#8230;]<\/p><p>If you want to quickly reference specific changed files from your working copy, simply do so by typing &ldquo;\\&rdquo;.<\/p><p>[&#8230;]<\/p><p>For a quick overview of the list of available commands, just type &ldquo;\/&rdquo;.
