We hoped Fleets would help more people feel comfortable joining the conversation on Twitter. But, in the time since <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kayvz\/status\/1328685331789484034?s=20\">we introduced Fleets to everyone<\/a>, we haven&rsquo;t seen an increase in the number of new people joining the conversation with Fleets like we hoped. Because of this, on August 3, Fleets will no longer be available on Twitter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2021\/07\/14\/twitter-change-who-can-reply-posted-tweets\/\">July Clover<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2021\/07\/14\/twitter-change-who-can-reply-posted-tweets\/\"><p>Twitter users will soon be able to change who can reply to their tweets after they&rsquo;ve posted them, the company has <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TwitterSafety\/status\/1415025551773892608?s=20\">announced<\/a>.<\/p><p>Limiting who could reply to a tweet was already an option, thanks to a feature <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2020\/08\/06\/twitter-ios-users-can-now-limit-replies\/\">rolled out last year<\/a>, but users had to choose who could reply before posting the tweet.
