That would seem to go against <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/app-store\/review\/guidelines\/\">guideline 2.3.1<\/a> about not including &ldquo;hidden, dormant, or undocumented features in your app.&rdquo;<\/p>\n\n<p id=\"twitter-launches-fleets-update-2020-11-23\">Update (2020-11-23): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2020\/11\/23\/twitter-bug-fleets-viewed-after-expiration\/\">Tim Hardwick<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2020\/11\/23\/twitter-bug-fleets-viewed-after-expiration\/\"><p>Twitter&rsquo;s new ephemeral tweets, or &ldquo;fleets,&rdquo; have been hit by a bug that allows them to be accessed long after their supposed 24-hour expiration time, less than a week after the feature launched.<\/p><p>[&#8230;]<\/p><p>According to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2020\/11\/21\/twitter-fleets-bug\/\">Techcrunch<\/a><\/em>, the bug allowed fleets to be viewed and downloaded by other users without notifying their creator. Details of the bug were posted in a series of tweets over the weekend. Twitter soon acknowledged the issue and says a fix is on the way.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p id=\"twitter-launches-fleets-update-2020-11-30\">Update (2020-11-30): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/spotify-stories-playlist-test-artists-202540428.html\">Kris Holt<\/a> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/daringfireball.net\/linked\/2020\/11\/30\/spotify-stories\">John Gruber<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/spotify-stories-playlist-test-artists-202540428.html\"><p>It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2019-05-13-spotify-storyline-test.html\">emerged last year<\/a> that Spotify was working on a stories feature for artists. The company started a public test of stories earlier this year, when it allowed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2020-01-21-spotify-stories-infuencer-playlists.html\">some influencers to add them to playlists.<\/a> Many other major platforms have stories features, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2020-02-04-instagram-stories-giphy-gif-replies.html\">Instagram<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2020-03-31-snapchat-opens-app-stories-third-party-apps.html\">Snapchat<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2020-03-09-facebook-experiment-stories-instagram-cross-post.html\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/google-looking-to-listen-youtube-stories-ios-095528271.html\">YouTube<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/twitter-launches-disappearing-fleets-130012022.html\">Twitter<\/a> and even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/linkedin-launches-redesign-with-disappearing-stories-140052516.html\">LinkedIn<\/a>. It probably shouldn&rsquo;t be too surprising that Spotify looks set to get in on the action too.
