I&rsquo;m happy with CrashPlan, but Arq promises advantages such as  better support for metadata and direct access to your backup data in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.haystacksoftware.com\/arq\/s3_data_format.txt\">documented, Git-like format<\/a>.
