It&rsquo;s very surprising that the device shipped with this kind of flaw. If the fix is to add Apple&rsquo;s &pound;29 rubber bumper on top of this &pound;600 device, that will be a very poor show indeed.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>He has videos demonstrating the problem. Unfortunately, the bumpers don&rsquo;t fit in docks and would probably make the phone stick in your pocket. Better to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marco.org\/733115343\">use tape<\/a>. Perhaps some black electrical tape wouldn&rsquo;t be so unsightly. <a href=\"http:\/\/daringfireball.net\/linked\/2010\/06\/24\/iphone-hold\">Apple&rsquo;s response<\/a> is not encouraging, <a href=\"http:\/\/digitaldaily.allthingsd.com\/20100624\/apple-responds-to-iphone4-reception-issues\/\">nor do I think it makes sense<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.antennasys.com\/antennasys-blog\/2010\/6\/24\/apple-iphone-4-antennas.html\">blame the FCC<\/a>. This is something that should work out of the box without accessories or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2010\/06\/24\/apple-responds-over-iphone-4-reception-issues-youre-holding-th\/\">instructions<\/a> not to hold it in the normal way.
