Macs, like many other computers, have always had their share of problems. These past few years feel particularly bad though, so here’s my quick take on the current state of the Mac lineup.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Maybe things will turn around later this year, with the Mac Pro<\/a> and rumored new pro notebooks, but right now we’re in quite a dark period for the Mac—both hardware and software<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

After many years using MacBook variants I’ve made the switch to Windows. I’ve used every version of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air that have been released. My current laptop of choice is the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon \/ Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme. Turns out switching from Mac to Windows isn’t as painful as I expected.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
