Apple reportedly &ldquo;fought tooth and nail&rdquo; to keep Spotify out of the United States following its debut in Europe, with Jobs going so far as to privately threaten Universal Music by stating Apple would remove its content from iTunes if it worked with Spotify in the U.S.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theinformation.com\/articles\/inside-the-world-of-eddy-cue-apples-services-chief\">Aaron Tilley<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/aatilley\/status\/1037381323579510784\">tweet<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.theinformation.com\/articles\/inside-the-world-of-eddy-cue-apples-services-chief\"><p>During meetings, Mr. Cue is sometimes known to fall silent, shut his eyes and tilt his head back, leaving other participants to wonder whether he is staring at the ceiling or sleeping, said several former Apple employees and one outside partner present on multiple occasions when it happened over the past few years. In at least two of these situations, Mr. Cue began snoring, one source said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>A lot of Apple&rsquo;s problem areas <a href=\"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2018\/06\/29\/rebuilding-apple-maps-using-apples-own-data\/\">are<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/04\/apple-hires-john-giannandrea\/\">or<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/18\/phil-schiller-takes-over-the-app-stores\/\">were<\/a>) Cue&rsquo;s responsibility.
