It&rsquo;s just not designed for scanning hundreds or thousands of photos. For that task, you&rsquo;d likely want a dedicated photo scanner like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B01HR89FNK\/?tag=tidbitselectro00\">Epson FastFoto<\/a>, but such devices are a significant investment and still require lots of your time.<\/p><p>A better approach might be to send your photos to a scanning service, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memoriesrenewed.com\/\"> Memories Renewed<\/a> or<a href=\"https:\/\/www.digmypics.com\/\">DigMyPic<\/a>, both of which were <a href=\"https:\/\/thewirecutter.com\/reviews\/the-best-photo-scanning-service\/\">well-liked by Wirecutter<\/a>. They can be expensive ($0.39 to $0.60 per photo), and it can be stressful to entrust irreplaceable photos to a service.
