{"id":17941,"date":"2017-05-08T14:33:53","date_gmt":"2017-05-08T18:33:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/?p=17941"},"modified":"2017-05-08T14:33:53","modified_gmt":"2017-05-08T18:33:53","slug":"apple-updates-workflow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mjtsai.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/08\/apple-updates-workflow\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple Updates Workflow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2017\/05\/08\/workflow-update-chrome-pocket-up-next\/\">Juli Clover<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2017\/05\/08\/workflow-update-chrome-pocket-up-next\/\">\n<p>Apple-owned Workflow was updated to version 1.7.4 today, re-introducing features that were removed when Apple acquired the app and adding new Apple Music actions.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>When Apple purchased Workflow, the Workflow team said app integrations and the Gallery would be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2017\/03\/22\/apple-acquires-popular-automation-app-workflow\/\">updated<\/a> on a regular basis, but a later report suggested Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2017\/04\/13\/workflow-stop-releasing-updates\/\">planned no more updates<\/a>. Based on today&rsquo;s update, which adds new features, that report was incorrect.<\/p>\n<p>Though two new actions have been re-introduced, there are still features missing from the Workflow app. Maps actions are restricted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/roundup\/apple-maps\/\">Apple Maps<\/a>, and translating text only works with Microsoft's translation services.
