Your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techdirt.com\/articles\/20151130\/12190132946\/mom-my-barbie-needs-better-firewall.shtml\">child&rsquo;s toys<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techdirt.com\/articles\/20150206\/04532329928\/samsungs-smart-tvs-are-collecting-storing-your-private-conversations.shtml\">your television<\/a> record your conversations and send them to manufacturers&rsquo; servers, where criminals are (again) able to access them. Your home thermostat goes HAL 9000 and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/nest-thermostat-problem-2014-1\">attempts to set your house on fire<\/a>.
