That is, they\r\neither leave the machine running at night (still logged into their user\r\naccount), or they put the machine to sleep. They rarely&mdash;if ever&mdash;log\r\nout, and only reboot when &ldquo;something is wrong&rdquo; or after installing a\r\nsystem update.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nI did that (log out only when necessary) for years, and didn&rsquo;t notice any ill effects. Nowadays, I\r\nrestart every morning.
