None of the articles are available as ASCII\r\ntext. Rather, every page of every issue is stored as high-resolution\r\nimages, a decidedly old media way of thinking about new media that\r\nperfectly embodies <em>The New Yorker<\/em>&#8217;s digital ambivalence.\r\nContent can&#8217;t be selected, copied or pasted, which obviously\r\nreflects a desire to protect against copyright violations.
