@McCloudStrife I don’t know. What do you think?
@McCloudStrife Cool. Thanks.
@danielpunkass I don’t think I have.
@danielpunkass Happens even if you are just a Mac developer.
@McCloudStrife I never said otherwise, though I think it’s quite possible they live in a bubble and believe what they’re saying.
@drdrang My dad just got directions that were 600 miles off.
"killall storeassetd" fixed problem where couldn't update MAS apps because it thought I was still logged into the sandbox.
@milend That’s odd. They’ll expand an unsigned ZIP but not a XIP signed with an Apple-issued certificate?
iCloud syncing wiped out all my smart mailboxes in Mail. Good think I have @arqbackup.
With both iPad mini and iPhone 6s, the iOS 9.3.5 update froze the keyboard on the third character of my passphrase after rebooting.
@Catfish_Man Cool. For NSArray, seems obvious to pick a few elements to combine. Am I missing something? NSDictionary seems harder.
@fehnman No stats the other way, either. Anecdotally, I hear more from customers who found my site and then bought from the MAS.
@fehnman I think the survey happened several months ago, before App Review times dropped so much and it seemed they would stay fast.
@fehnman FWIW, I was surveyed but am not a DevMate customer.
@fehnman They’re skewed by whoever chose to participate, but not sure how to get around that.
@ScooterComputer It’s not much, but better than a sudden extra fee, perhaps. In practice, if you manage properly, you won’t see either.
@ScooterComputer Yeah, that’s a plus for us because of the smaller plan. (And one phone on contract, so that connect fee doesn’t change.)
@ScooterComputer Where do you see the $5?
@peternlewis Yeah, I have been pushing back unless the bug is happening in VMware. So might as well not have filed in the first place.
@mjdrayton Other than through DTS, I’m not convinced there’s any correlation between me filing and anything happening.
Lately, whenever I file a Radar the response is: We won’t look into this unless you submit a sysdiagnose with logs of everything.
@juripakaste Or could be a memory management bug.
So that’s why I can’t update apps:
storeassetd: -[__NSDictionary0 downloads]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7fbd749011e0
Technically, Fortran before Scheme, but I never learned it that well.
Logo. BASIC. HyperTalk. Pascal. C++. AppleScript. Scheme. #FirstSevenLanguages
@nickheer Fixed; thanks.
@joecab That doesn’t affect addresses that are in the Contacts app.
@nickheer Right, but it’s not going to feel like a button, and it will be more depressed so I have to reach farther.
@lapcatsoftware I’ve never had an unwanted listing update. Maybe because I don’t use Sparkle?
Going to iTunes Connect to deploy, click on my app, spins for 5 minutes. In that time, submitted to MacUpdate and listing already updated.
Really hope Sierra doesn’t ship until October. The bugs that came back to me to verify are not fixed, and I’m finding new ones.
Radar: “The original report on your issue has been closed recently.” Would be nice to know if fixed/wontfix, but I guess this is progress.
@nicklockwood And why isn’t it editable yet?
@ClarkGoble Another said the item never even shipped because it was out of stock, yet the customer site shows UPS tracking w/ est. date.
@ClarkGoble Also, the internal ones disagree. One said refunded issued in July; another said refund not yet given.
@ClarkGoble Different issue? Internal system said order was canceled/refunded, but the customer one says it was shipped. Shouldn’t happen.
@ClarkGoble My issue is not that it got lost (happens) but that their customer Web site does not show the same info as their internal one.
The refund that was supposedly sent on July 15 did not arrive. 2nd agent says out of stock, never shipped, but they sent tracking number.
@lapcatsoftware Yeah, damaged shipments, difficult returns. I’ve been ordering more from Amazon lately.
Mysteries of Apache logs: lots of referrers all of a sudden from a CrossFit gym to my post on ZFS.
Walmart order placed July 8, said to arrive July 12, Web site says it’s on the way, called today and told canceled/refunded July 15 bc lost.
iPhone stopped charging after iOS 9.3.4 update from all but one cable (Amazon, oddly). Restarting fixed it.
@PBones Looks great!
@OvercastFM Still getting “crashes” at launch, though no recent crash logs showing up on Mac. Any ideas?
@rosyna Yeah. I wish it would clean up after itself. So many empty folders and attachment caches left behind.
@Wevah I think you’re right. Fixed in the online manual, and it’ll be fixed in the 3.4.1 download.
