@atomicbird Wow. I'm using Dropbox 3.2.9 and just verified that it is stripping all but the "com.apple.metadata:" xattrs. Used to work!
@atomicbird Are you seeing a change in behavior? As I recall, Dropbox added xattr support in 1.0, and it seemed to work in my testing.
Just noticed that Activity Monitor has a Spotlight Diagnostics command in the gear toolbar menu that's not in the menu bar.
@peternlewis Will clarify that. Thanks.
@SmileyKeith Thanks!

@nolobe_matt @nolobe_matt Maybe this should become a feature request for Moom. :-) /cc @manytricks
@nolobe_matt Hanging onto icon view?
@nolobe_matt After the Cocoa Finder rewrite (or was it Lion and autosave?) it stopped remembering even those.
@nolobe_matt I gave that up with the Mac OS X Finder because it wouldn't remember them. But it could remember a couple column-view windows.
@nolobe_matt This morning I was listening to a @siracusa podcast and was reminded that I used to precisely arrange windows and even icons.
@clattner_llvm The link to "Error Handling Programming Guide" doesn't seem to work.
Tired of Finder forgetting which windows I have open and what their view options are, so I wrote a script: c-command.com/scripts/finder…
@rosyna Yes, but the alternative to having a mandatory Watch app is having an optional one like Remote, AirPort Utility, etc.
@uliwitness @nickheer I've heard that it's a lot better but not really very matte when compared with actual matte displays.
@milend I didn't think it was a browser issue because it had also failed for me in Firefox, which I never use with Apple sites.
@pbur rdar://problem/20120754
Radar login problem fixed by Safari's "Clear History and Website Data.” Had previously deleted all the Apple cookies, which didn't help.
@rudyrichter @NetNewsWire Not sure why. I provided specific feedback on this on 2013-06-25 and 2013-09-11. Thanks, though.
@rudyrichter @NetNewsWire Getting URL, title, selected text of the current article/tab. Getting URLs of the unread articles in a feed.
@NetNewsWire Any plans to restore AppleScript support?
@reneritchie @jmfd Notably, this is not as much extra space as you get with a scaled MBP. (And scaling is not always desirable, anyway.)
@reneritchie @jmfd Supports up to 1440x900 scaled, which is the native resolution of the 14-inch MacBook Air. apple.com/macbook/specs/
@jmfd Power seems unlikely to me given the relatively small difference between 720 and 768.
@jmfd What do you think the reason is? Cheaper panels at that resolution? Do they prefer a lower DPI?
@jmfd Thank you for looking that up.
@justinburkard That wasn't the standard pre-Retina MBP resolution. You got the high-res upgrade.
@marcoarment 1152 x 720. Shortest Mac display in a very long time.
@Stammy @flyosity Yes, but with the rMBP the standard resolution is the same as on the non-Retina 15-inch.
New 12-inch MacBook Air seems to have a smaller logical resolution than the old 11-inch.
@brentsimmons You can make it even shorter by omitting the " = nil".
@retrophisch They do (finally) have a way to report Radar problems without using Radar.
@pbur Radar filing delayed because all of a sudden the bug reporter isn't letting me log in. :(
@pbur This is happening with both Apple TV 2 and 3, current OS versions, two different houses, two different AirPort Extremes. I'll file.
@jeffhellman It's got to be fixable in software. Worked perfectly for years…
@jfricker But now that you mention it, I think I recall others saying that Ethernet is actually less reliable at connecting to Apple server.
@jfricker We started using Ethernet because with Wi-Fi it would estimate 16 hours to load a half-hour show, though other devices are fast.
Not sure what happened to the network stack, but about 50% of the time now my Apple TV won't play anything until I restart it.
