Tried to look up an API. Couldn't find it in Dash or Xcode's documentation or workspace search. Found right away with BBEdit header search.
@mhenders Sorry to hear that.
@mhenders Their site was also down for maintenance minutes after they sent me an e-mail telling me to check my account.
@nickheer I'm fine. Just had a cold and then was busy moving.
I added some more links to my “Photos for Mac” roundup: mjtsai.com/blog/2015/02/0…
@bwebster Yeah, a nice addition in Yosemite.
@busymac Looks great! I noticed that there is installer package rather than a drag install. Does it install something other than an app?
Yosemite Bug: Changed the sending account in Apple Mail, and it discarded the files I'd attached to the message.
@EggFreckles No one is forcing you unless you want a new Mac or all the security updates.
@rob_rix @bitcrumb @mikeash @gparker Seems similar to Menlo. OK at larger sizes, smoothed, but hard to read at smaller sizes on non-Retina.
@siracusa @mikeash Almost makes me want to turn off the internal MBP display, but I really like having dual displays.
@bitcrumb @mikeash @gparker I think I've tried them all. Strongly prefer Monaco 9. Menlo 11 is my 2nd favorite, but: less sharp, shows less.
@gparker @mikeash Lots of good fonts for Retina displays. The problem is that having a Retina display reduces the choices for non-Retina.
@mikeash Apparently only a few of us think so.
@betalogue No particular issues, just been wanting Mac OS X to have more contrast, blacker blacks, etc. for 15 years.
@ejknapp OK, thanks.
A week into running Yosemite with "Increase contrast" enabled, there are a few visual glitches, but I like it.
@_jackhl But the latest non-beta Xcode is still 6.1.1?
@mhenders Strangely, none of the Apple support pages have loaded for me in Safari for months. They work in other browsers…
Nice that 1Password now automatically displays credit card numbers in groups (appropriate for card type).
@danielpunkass Separate folders are definitely a good idea. Wonder why Xcode doesn't make that the default.
@danielpunkass Had a lot of problems like that with workspaces and projects that shared frameworks (which had their own projects).
@foresmac Yeah, Swift synthesizes a lot of ideas, but in that way it already feels a generation behind. Could concurrency could be added?
@mhenders Thanks.
@alanthonyc Thanks! Yeah, I hope Marco does a post. Syncing bugs are interesting.
@OvercastFM Is this because of the recent backend changes? Syncing seemed perfect to me for the first several months.
@khanlou Keep up the good work.
Strangely, the same PDF looks fine with Quick Look.
Yosemite's Preview rotated all the text boxes I added to the PDF by 90 degrees. PDFpen shows them in the right places but added borders.
