@rentzsch @simX I’m more sympathetic to that than to the fact that their unsubscribe link says it worked but didn’t actually do anything.
@Catfish_Man Interesting, but it doesn’t seem that much different from “defaults read”.
@_toddmc Back-and-forth, phone-tag, trips to local repair shop who couldn’t reproduce, didn’t want to mail it until they promised to fix it.
@_toddmc Bad discrete GPU. Took 2-3 months to get them to agree to replace, but only 45 hours for mail-in service.
@mmunz I’m not sure about networking; file system access was definitely sandboxed in Lion.
@mmunz Spotlight plug-ins have been sandboxed for a while now. I had to remove some features from mine for Lion.
Am I imagining things, or did there used to be a way to get a smaller font size in open/save panel lists?
Apple’s mail-in repair service has gotten much faster. Dropped off at FedEx Thursday afternoon, and it’ll be back here within a few hours.
