@mattgemmell I'm in pretty much the same situation. Does it randomly go dead for you once in a while until you powercycle?
Switching from a scroll ball mouse to a scroll wheel, I was happy to learn about holding Shift to scroll horizontally. http://t.co/1baKSwV
@bbedit At last!
@scott_lowe x-eaglefiler://default?k=NSInitialToolTipDelay&v=10000
@kelan Agreed.
@jsnell Yeah, I like being able to use search templates from LaunchBar without having to be in Safari.
@kelan I think that ship already sailed, c.f. buttons that react to hovering.
iTunes 10.4.1 still doesn't seem to remember that I prefer the Album List view mode.
Still not used to that shrinking Finder drag animation in column view. I keep dropping files in the wrong folder. :-(
@Stormchild Cool. I don't think I knew about your Tumblr.
@Stormchild Those seem to be more reliable about bypassing the store. Thanks!
@Stormchild I have the downward-pointing arrow menus. How do you get the old arrows? Odd thing is that *sometimes* it bypasses the store.
@Stormchild 10.4.1 is taking me to the store most times when I choose an artist/album with Option down. Columns bug seems fixed, though.
@Stormchild Probably a feature, but it's not very discoverable now.
@Stormchild I swear that I tried Option-click yesterday and it *also* went to the store, but today it seems to be working.
@Stormchild How did you make the arrows jump to the browser instead of the store? I thought there used to be a modifier key…
@Stormchild Right. Probably not much testing since "On Left" is the new hotness. But I like columns, plural.
@reitshamer Congrats on Arq 2!
I hope iTunes 10.4.1 fixes the browser redraw glitch…
@schwa Yeah. Still waiting for "man xpc" though.
@atreloar EagleFiler uses the standard rich-text editing toolbar and doesn't modify Mail.
@danielpunkass Not sure; I assume calendar year. I actually did it for another reseller; fact that it worked for Apple, too, was a bonus.
@danielpunkass Afraid so, but next year you'll know how to fill out the forms. :-)
@simX Why lame? What was Bounce actually good for?
@danielpunkass I just applied for this year's govt paperwork yesterday, since last year took so many months more than expected.
@hatfinch Would be nice if they had developed the NS*Controllers separately to be independent of bindings.
@reitshamer Not a single problem since Leopard came out with my parents' Macs and Time Capsule. Trouble for me across multiple Macs/drives.
@reitshamer Continual -50 errors that prevented it from creating backups to direct-connected drives. Lots of corrupt Time Capsule backups.
@reitshamer Yep, except for me it froze disk access for 5-6 minutes. Stopped using Time Machine for that and other problems.
@fraserspeirs Plus, what if you don't have TB yet?
@paulhagstrom Haven't seen that before. Do you mean 10.7.0?
@ianbeck Not seeing that problem here, however it does constantly switch the status bar off.
@danielpunkass Did you really have performance problems? What CPU?
@alexkingorg Good to know. I didn't run into that since all mine are .txt.
I added WriteUp and Write 2 to the iPhone text editor comparison: http://mjtsai.com/blog/2...
WebConfidential's going Intel: http://www.web-confident...
@siancu Interesting. Zooming works for me with the trackpad, but the dictionary lookup gesture doesn't.
@yllan Yeah, but there should be a non-gesture way. I like gestures, but the Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse have terrible tracking, IMO.
Why is there no way to trigger Safari's double-tap-to-zoom feature without a trackpad?
eaglefiler EagleFiler 1.5.5 includes improved support for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, plus new features and other enhancements: http://bit.ly/oyvRJq
@OmniFocus Congrats. OmniFocus is certainly one of my must-haves.
Ideally, the helpee would not need to create an account.
@kdbdallas Nothing, but I'm looking for the simplest possible solution for doing remote tech support. Is Adium easier than iChat in any way?
Sounds like Copilot won't be running on Lion any time soon. Any alternatives that are easier than iChat?
Copilot Helper still requires Rosetta. :-(
Too bad Quick Look's "Open with BBEdit" button doesn't work from Time Machine.
