@nriley I don't even know the password for this keychain, nor does it appear in Keychain Access.
Lion: "mdwrite wants to use the 'metadata' keychain." The what keychain?
@daagaak Bug ID# 9835914
So it seems that, to AppleScript, a full screen window that's currently filling the screen does not necessarily have index 1.
@thomasborowski Agreed. Snow Leopard was supposedly more minor but had various problems for me. Lion seems solid—just a bunch of small bugs.
All things considered, this has been a very smooth OS upgrade.
@danielpunkass The other dumb thing is that you can't Control-click on the preview now to treat it as a file.
@atnan I believe Atwood lost his blog; I don't recall Stack Overflow losing their data.
@rbrockerhoff Oh, I think I misread. I thought you were having a problem even though the dead key mechanism still works. It's essential.
@FunkeeMonk Right. Could just buy it as a backup. Although maybe it needs their server to activate? Anyway, like Daniel, I trust them.
@rbrockerhoff Would be interested to hear more about why…
@FunkeeMonk I've heard reports that it's not so great on Linux, problems with Mono, etc. Best to use what they're dogfooding.
@danielpunkass Yes, I manually bcc myself on all e-mails just in case…
@FunkeeMonk Yeah, thus far I've been more lazy than paranoid. Don't want to get into running a Windows server.
@danielpunkass Yeah, it's "enough." But would mean lots of downtime and extra work. So easy to switch Web hosts in comparison.
@danielpunkass Is having the data enough, though? Do you have a place to install/run it? Too bad they no longer have two data centers.
@danielpunkass I tried to set that up with their API, which silently choked and returned a bad XML document.
@wilshipley What about FogBugz?
