@ttscoff Yes, but I'd sort of forgotten about Gity. Thanks for the reminder. Right now I'm using GitX.

@ianbeck Agreed. Tower seems overly iOS and very modal.

@shawnmccullough I'm glad to hear that. Thanks for tweeting.

Still not tempted to switch from GitX.

EagleFiler 1.5 adds Quick Entry hotkey, tag winnowing, iWork previews, and much more: http://c-command.com/blo...

@tbridge Preview shows "Apple" for the Make and "iPhone" for the Model.

@gruber How can the QuickTake 200 be more popular than the original iPhone?

APC doing free replacement for my out-of-warranty UPS. Yay!

@natevw S3 and Flickr Pro both seem overly fancy for a backup. Why not something like CrashPlan?

@danwood Or maybe everyone will go to the news sites today and see your release info near the Apple stories?

Developer asks if he can use private API to work around an OS bug. Steve says no. Not much of a story.

Dropped a folder by accident and discovered that Acorn has an image browser. Cool.

@iacas Believe it or not, it works with pop-up menus.

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to iacas

@iacas Not sure, but I set keyboard shortcuts via System Preferences. And if necessary you could trigger them via AppleScript.

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to iacas

@uliwitness That would work, I think, although I figured it wouldn't be allowed.

@drewmccormack How can you pull your app and still support the customers who brought through the MAS?

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to drewmccormack

@danielpunkass And a developer of apps that other apps need to find/talk to. So potentially lots of changes required to handle duplicate IDs

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to danielpunkass

@danielpunkass Agreed. I'm looking at this as a developer who writes apps that integrate with other apps…

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to danielpunkass

@danielpunkass Distinguishable is good. I'm just wary about breaking AppleScripts, apps that search by bundle ID, etc.

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to danielpunkass

@dnanian Yeah, Google searching is much better. But with MAS people will browse and find stuff they didn't know to search for.

@kevinhoctor My question is about Mac App Store vs. direct from your site. Will those be the same ID? Or will you discontinue direct sales?

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to kevinhoctor

@kevinhoctor What's the reason for giving the two Mac versions different bundle identifiers? Seems like that would cause problems.

via Tweetie for Mac in reply to kevinhoctor

@catshive Good luck! I'm looking forward to seeing what you build.
