@pbur Yeah, Instapaper works very well. Better than NNW or Safari for this because it caches the article and remembers your position.
@retrophisch Yeah, it's so much faster to process on the Mac, and easier to archive pages that I want to save. Sticking to *reading* on iPad
Coming to the conclusion that it's better not to try to process feeds on the iPad at all. Plus, then I can turn off Google syncing.
