@jurewitz Regex.
The servers go off on 8/31, and Brent is still figuring out what to do about clippings, hierarchy, and "special" characters?
So the executive summary is that the existing NNW sync will stop working and, even for a price, the new syncing won't be equivalent?
@dsandler Yes, as I recall unsyncing didn't help.
@dsandler For me, error 13019 was stopped by deleting my voice memos.
@dshowell Bad Apple. Thanks for the info.
Drive Genius goes out of its way to prevent me from getting my hands on the updated .dmg file.
The new MobileMe iDisk apps seems to be faster than AirSharing Pro, but overall not as nice.
Testing the final build on PowerPC, so I'm once again reminded how dark those old PowerBook screens were.
@siracusa Displays. But I guess they're not rumorworthy.
@marcoarment Yes, Google is pretty open about Checkout. Opaque and untrustworthy with AdWords, though.
Would it be too much to ask for PayPal's "Payments sent" link to actually go to the list of sent payments rather than the whole list?
@danielpunkass I think you'll like it. May make you question the wisdom of bindings, though.
@leebennett That wouldn't be a useful split for me because I mostly have data, and data is what I want to be fast.
@tbridge Makes sense. Having two volumes can make things complicated, though.
@tbridge I'd love to go with SSD, but I want at least 500 GB.
I won't go back to 5400 RPM.
@fraserspeirs Would be nice if Macworld had told the RPM and whether it would fit in a MacBook Pro. Still good news, though.
Notes in Mail are actually not too bad, except for the constant (seemingly spurious) errors about saving.
I like Trails' cleaner interface and ability to turn off the display, but sometimes I couldn't get the display to come back on. And crashy.
The camera in MotionX-GPS only saves 640x480 versions of your photos. Beware.
@kevinhoctor Cute.
@mattgemmell That doesn't seem possible. Are there really so few computers sold over $1000?
@fraserspeirs Doesn't it seem really small after the 30-inch?
@leebennett Didn't realize it was near you!
@fraserspeirs Yes, I'm shocked that Apple hasn't fixed this since October. Sleeping the display often helps, but sometimes I need to reboot!
@richarmstrong Nevermind; I just got your e-mail. Thanks for looking into this.
@richarmstrong Much appreciated. I'm not seeing an e-mail from you, though.
I'm still trying to get my head around FogBugz itself. Best Web-based issue tracker I've seen, but hard to give up e-mail and OmniFocus.
@richarmstrong It just took 5 seconds to load Case 1.
@richarmstrong My domain is c-command.fogbugz.com. Sometimes it's really quick, but sometimes loading a short case list takes 4 seconds.
@justin It seems to work OK. It's kinda slow, but then so is FogBugz itself.
Trying out Inbugz, an iPhone FogBugz client. http://calftrail.com/inb... Seems to work well, but there's no search.
Checking out Neue Frutiger. http://tinyurl.com/lv422t
iTunes wouldn't sync with error 13019 until I deleted my voice memos.
@pilky Ah, so you mean "resuming work on it." Looks nice.
@pilky "Starting work…coming out towards the end of the summer.…" Are you in the Southern Hemisphere or a super fast coder? :-)
@pilky Perhaps it was intended to be reused for other kinds of views?
@pilky You have more than one Lighthouse app? Is there a forthcoming iPhone version?
@pilky Yeah. Desktop and iPhone apps would make FogBugz interesting to me.
Adding the remaining C-Command apps to PMC Charity Fundraiser. http://pmc.truerwords.ne...
PCalc touch 1.7 is fantastic! 4-line display, HP48-style RPN, faster launching.
Was getting error -50 syncing my iPhone until I deleted Aperture's "iPod Photo Cache".
@leebennett You don't have the MDP connected to a Dual-Link DVI adapter, do you?
@matthewglidden My understanding is that it's a software problem affecting all Macs with mini DisplayPorts. My MBP has an NVIDIA card.
@HowardGMac Thanks, but that's for VGA. I'm using Dual-Link DVI. Apple has newer versions of the adapter, but apparently they're even worse.
@matthewglidden Internal display plus one external display: http://bit.ly/RexDb
The Mini DisplayPort adapter problems are becoming more frequent. Five times in the past half hour.
@danwood Nice work!
Checking out Ulysses. http://www.the-soulmen.c...
@mattgemmell Ditto. So I guess either the rumors are wrong or we're missing something.
@snej It seems too yellow to me, compared to the first-gen.
@jonathandann -globallyUniqueString only guarantees unique for the network and doesn't specify the length or what characters will be used.
@schwa Awesome.
@pilky Why is the iPod touch more amazing? Thinness?
Liking Wikipanion Plus better than Kiwi.
@blakeseely I was wondering that, too. :-)
@jsnell No case.
The 3GS keeps turning off the screen when I press the Speaker button.
@gruber A search didn't turn up much. My guess is "paraphrase so I don't have to cite."
What does it mean to do a "write-through" of the source material?
@adamengst If you measure it at 40mpg going 70mph, then yes. I thought you meant that the EPA rated yours at 40mpg going 55mph in 2001.
@adamengst I read that the testing method has changed, so that you have to subtract 5-10mpg from an older car to make the numbers comparable
