@kcase Yay--I'm looking forward to turning off httpd.
iTunes: Please fix your search field focus ring to match the Graphite appearance.
@jamesthomson I'm drooling now. Too bad Apple doesn't let you save your own Default.png. It looks funny switching button themes at launch.
@jamesthomson I'd use the Roll slot for the 2nd button and use 2nd-Swap for Roll.
@jamesthomson I realize removing 3 M buttons doesn't free up a row. I'd make AC and Drop the 2nd functions for C and Del like on the HP.
@jamesthomson I'd love to see 2 rows of stack on the main screen instead of that row of buttons. Or maybe 4 rows with a smaller font.
PCalc's new default layout is a big improvement. I also like the new themes. But I'd like to get rid of the memory buttons in RPN mode.
@siegel Why wouldn't a 30-inch display work with the new MacBook Air?
@siegel Why not?
@leebennett It should use regular buttons and pop-ups. The HIG says the other style is for scope bars. (Time Machine also uses it...)
Why does the new Trackpad pref pane use a scope push button and a scope pop-up menu? http://tinyurl.com/43zgok
@leebennett That does look silly.
Apple Remote no longer included. Dual-Link DVI Adapter $99 extra.
@leebennett No, I mean the integrated cable that splits into MagSafe power, DisplayPort, and USB.
According to the photo, they really did remove FireWire from the MacBook!
@leebennett Loss of DVI port, new tri-cable.
@kevinhoctor A good direction, yes. I just think it's more of a niche technology. Would like to be wrong.
Snell: "The MacBook doesn't seem to have a FireWire port. I don't think they mentioned it, but I didn't see it in the video."
@kevinhoctor I'm skeptical. Are the any public numbers on the effect of the GPU/OpenCL on normal code?
Granted the Apple one is nicer, but Dell has a 24-inch display for $419 instead of $899.
@siegel I was comparing to the 2006 MBP, which was 2.33 GHz.
They removed the FireWire port from the display?
However, in the nearly 2 years since my MBP, they've only improved the processor by 0.5 GHz.
New MBPs look good, but no eSATA or Blu-ray. Great that the hard drive is finally accessible.
@dsandler Good question. Maybe switch fingers mid-drag?
@fraserspeirs Yep, Subway Shuffle is great.
